Natalie tutors all grade levels and subjects, and is passionate about creating engaging curriculum, implementing best education practices, and most importantly, shaping tomorrow's thinkers and leaders!
Following college in 2014, Natalie was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows (Cohort 25). Through this program, Natalie taught 6th grade math and science in the South Bronx. She also served as a 7th grade advisor, helped plan and execute one of NYC's largest math tournaments (Pi5NY), and coached the middle school dance team. All while obtaining her Master’s in Education from St. John's University with a concentration in 7th-12th grade mathematics.

After graduating from SJU, and two years of teaching in one of the highest need areas in the country, Natalie wrote about her experiences and was accepted into San Diego State University's M.F.A. program with a Presidential Graduate Research Fellowship. She was also the recipient of the Preby's Creative and Performing Arts Endowed Scholarship in 2019. At SDSU, Natalie completed a manuscript, and graduated with her M.F.A. in Creative Writing in May of 2019. All the while, she worked full time as an Elementary School Math Specialist (2016- 2018) and a 5th Grade General Studies teacher (2018-2020). Natalie started NBTutors in response to the pandemic in the summer of 2020, and established The Learning Space at IMD. She works as the Director of Education for Inspired Movement, where she runs the studio internship program, and works as the liaison between school districts concerning all ISPE/OCIS candidates.
In 2022, Natalie began developing Traveling Miss T.’s Math Maps, which engages students in math on maps of the world. She is now partnered with more than 50 public land sites (local, state, and federal) across the nation in hopes to make learning an adventure accessible to all.

When she’s not “traveling” or tutoring, Natalie loves to tap dance, hike, and cook... (While listening to Taylor Swift, of course!)

"My point is to be open. To listen and learn from community members, teachers, entrepreneurs, and people who may not be familiar with interpretation at all. We all have a shared goal of educating the public, and sharing knowledge with others. When individual interpreters, leaders, and classroom teachers collaborate—and when larger interpretive and educational agencies work together—we are able to navigate tides, and make waves instead of small ripples."
